Monday, July 12 Episode: Top 10, Last Comic Standing Season 7

wasted opening, economic friendly superhero, slurring, k in chlamydia

I feel kind of bad for Maronzio Vance. He did a great job getting into the Top 10 for Season 7, but boy did the pressure ever get to him. His opening was a little long, especially with the short amount of time it’s probably not wise to ask the audience how they’re doing two different ways before starting into your set. Maronzio’s material and delivery are fantastic, though he does slur his words at times. Everything was going well, though, until the messed up the setup in his last joke, saying “C” for chlamydia instead of “K” which would have led into the proper punchline. He tried to recover by quickly retelling the joke hoping people wouldn’t notice, and maybe they didn’t, but I sure did. It’s too bad, because he had potential.

Nice jeans and an interesting choice with a light vest and button-up shirt. It works, though.

Monday, July 19 Episode: Top 7, Last Comic Standing Season 7

As expected, last week’s nervousness on stage was the end of Maronzio Vance on Last Comic Standing. He’s still young and received great exposure, so I don’t feel so bad. He’ll have many great shows ahead of him as long as he can keep his nerves in check.

    I disagree I believe he was great and was sooooo much better then 99.99% of the people on there. I think that it was a joke when he go cut.
