Tahlia Brookins – Photoshoot Portfolio Review, America’s Next Top Model Cycle 12, ANTM 2009

It’s too bad that Tahlia didn’t have enough self-confidence to go further in the competition. Tahlia’s face was maybe the strongest left in the entire competition, but she just wasn’t likable enough. I hope she does pursue modeling because her beauty shot was spectacular and the video camera lens loved her in the Cover Girl commercial.

Damn, who knew Tahlia would look so beautiful in close-ups. She is definitely stepping up her game. She’s gotten better week after week after week. At this rate, she may actually contend for the finals.

Tahlia looks like a professional dancer in photo. Her body’s curves are highlighted extremely well, and her facial expression is suitably vivid. Great job, hopefully Tahlia can keep this up.

Tahlia looks better than she did last week, but it still doesn’t look like modeling to me. This photo looks like random pointing and over-acting. Oh well, at least it’s progress.

Hmm, this pose is way overdone, almost like B-movie acting. The pose is bizarre and the face is weak. I’m searching for something positive to say, but I honestly can’t think of anything.

Tahlia is another in-between model, too big for runway, too small for full-figured modeling. That said, she’s not so far off that she couldn’t gain a little bit of weight if she really wants to take modeling seriously. I like her face, and I think she’ll photograph really well.

OMG you are the coolest girl on ANTM and i cried when you got voted off!! I cried during school and all anyone asked was why are you cring and when i told them thay thought i was weird. but i really wanted you to win and i'm sad. keep on beleving

I was really starting to like Tahlia too. She looked gorgeous in all her recent photos and in the CoverGirl commercial. If only she had the confidence to believe in herself, she would have gone even further.

I didn't watch ANTM but I did meet Tahlia at the burn camp up in Prescott, Az.. She is a stunning young woman and made a huge impression on me for not only her outward beauty but for her inner strength and courage. I hope she does well in whatever she does in life! I do think the comment next to her picture above is the epitome of why our modeling industry is destroying the self confidence in young women. Tahlia's body is perfect and to say she is too big for runway and too small for full figure modeling makes me sick! The modeling industry needs to stop idolizing stick skinny anorexic models. It's not healthy or realistic! urgh!
