Felicia “Fo” Porter – Photoshoot Portfolio Review, America’s Next Top Model Cycle 12, ANTM 2009

I really enjoyed Fo this season. She came away as my early favourite, but her immaturity really came through a few episodes into the season. Fo’s inability to deal with a super-fabulous makeover was annoying. Fo got more and more annoying each week with her complaining, but there’s still something about her look that grabbed me.

Unfortunatley for Fo, her proportions are all wrong modeling. She’s too short and photographs short as well. Her personality is not enough to carry her through either. Fo did deliver some nice shots throughout the year, but I’m not sure how far she can go in the actual modeling industry.

This is definitely one of the weakest photos of the entire season. I have no idea what Fo is doing with her body. I guess she was going for broken-down doll, but instead she channels model gargoyle.

I really like this photo of Fo. She definitely went a little over the top with her impersonation instead of going for a model’s pose, but I like the life and energy that Fo brings to the photo. Best of all, the clothes look really fabulous, and isn’t that the whole point?

Damn, Fo is really starting to turn it up. Fo’s pose is great as is her hair and makeup. The expression on her face is totally fierce. If Fo continues this way, she has a good shot at winning the whole thing.

Fo looks fantastic in this photo. Her expression is hot, hot, hot. I think Fo performed the best of anyone this week, but I had to deduct a point from the overall photo because of the horrible head piece they have her wearing. What was hair and makeup thinking?

Wow, Fo went from my favourite photo of the season to my most disliked photo of the season. There is nothing good to say about this photo. Fo is looking off into some random distance without any emotion. Her sad attempt at a pose is kind of disturbing. I have no idea what went wrong this week, but I hope that Fo can turn it around next time.

This is definitely my favourite photo of the season so far. The lighting, the dynamic movement, the story, everything just works. Fo is definitely the focal point of this photo, and she sells it well. Her face looks absolutely stunning, and the clothing and makeup are fantastic. This photo is definitely a keeper.

Fo’s face is well lit and her expression works well. Unfortunately, Fo’s pose looks quite stiff, and she doesn’t use the second light stick very well at all. It’s like she’s trying to highlight her knees instead of the clothes.

Fo’s makeover is stunningly gorgeous, it’s too bad that she doesn’t see it. This after-makeover photo is kind of horrible, though, since Fo obviously hasn’t gotten used to her new look yet. That being said, the makeover was absolutely spot on, and Fo will be fantastic if she can get over her hair hangup.

Wow, it sure didn’t take Fo very long to live up to the hype. This is definitely one of the strongest photos of the week. The action in the photo is absolutely fantastic, and Fo does well to keep her expression nice while jumping in the air.

Felicia Fo Porter, America's Next Top Model Cycle 12 ANTM 2009, Episode 1: What Happens In Vegas

Off of initial impression alone, Fo is going to be my favourite model this year. Her face is absolutely to-die for. Let’s hope that she can back up her strong look with good posing and a fun personality. This photo isn’t too hot on its own, but Fo’s potential is scary. I can’t wait to see how they make her over.

Honestly? You're way too harsh, and it's kind of on the verge of annoying.

What gives you this whole ego trip that you have to talk and walk and judge like you know your stuff? I think your ratings are off. Wayyyy off, and you come off as really strong and harsh. Not cute.
